Sir,
An English settler called me recently. He owns a sugarcane plantation and seeks to improve the yield of his production. He has heard of a Dutch Jew who developed revolutionary methods, but he has retired and cannot be found. He would have fled Brazil to arrive on one of the islands of the West Indies.
The settler found some documents, probably illustrated by the Dutch during his crossing of the Antilles. He saw fit to call on me to analyze them. I examined them, it gives us the route and the final place where the one we are looking for is located.
But I am not a good geographer, it seems to me that your knowledge of the islands and puzzles is once again essential!
I will reward you, as usual.
Johan Maurits.
