The treasure of the fallen King

Dear friend, During the English Civil War, one cannot say that the City of London was really favorable to King Charles I. To say the least. Imagine that the Lord Mayor of London had forced the king to leave his city in a hurry. It must be said that at the time, the City of London was favorable to the republic wanted by Cromwell. What a time! Beheading crowned heads, I hope we will never see that again in Europe, it is infamous barbarism. Anyway, in his haste when he left the City, the king would have left some valuable artefacts which no one has ever been able to find back. Till today. At the very least, I got my hands on documents relating to this story. A London merchant reportedly recovered the treasure and put it in his cellar. He died without descendants and without having spoken to anyone. He simply wrote these documents which I found through a few connections. How about a trip to London? This time we would both go. Your old friend, Ben Gunn.
